Generation Five - The Future

Generation five has yet to officially happen, but people believe that it will contain, but not be limited to: Parallel processing, superconductors, speach recognition, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology. Parallel processing allows two microprocessors to complete the task of one, splitting the load, and making it faster to complete. Superconductors will allow for less energy to be spent getting it to where it has to go, losing less or none because there is no resistence. Voice recognition is already in use today, in our iPhones for example. Artificial intelligence aims to create intelligence in computers or even robots. Nanotechnology was originally thought to be the science fictions writings of K. Drexler, but after the ability to create simple structures on the molecular level arrived, the science community thinks it may be possible.
